![]() ![]() I liked this book, but I thought that the proportions of lies and grovelling the main characters did were inappropriate. The plot was interesting, but I wanted to see more of Jase’s family. ![]() Unless I missed something, the driver who kidnapped her mother was an outlier and being a Previzi driver doesn’t automatically mean that they kidnap people. ![]() She is also a thief and yet she goes on about how bad they are for being thieves and of course, won’t speak to Jase for some time when she finds out that he deals with them. Another thing that really annoyed me was her reaction to the Previzi drivers. She gets so offended when she finds out about some of Jase’s lies and won’t even speak to him, and yet she’s the one who doesn’t say a single truth until some of the last chapters. I liked Kazi’s friends, and most of the time, I liked Kazi, but there were moments where she really irritated me because of her hypocrisy. ![]() Also, he was supposed to be the Patrei and yet he completely ignores the fact that Kazi is a Rahtan and gives her (and her friends) free reign in Tor’s Watch. I liked Jase and his whole family, although they could have been shown in more detail. I really liked this book, but Kazi annoyed me at times. ![]() ![]() ![]() During the same skirmish, Murtagh and the Twins are taken captive by Urgals.
